Currently the port of Baltimore is impeded by debris blocking the Patapsco River due to the collapse of the Baltimore Key Bridge. All ships destined for the port of Baltimore are currently being rerouted, leading to a surge in vessel traffic at other ports along the East Coast.

It may take months before the port of Baltimore can be operational again.
